About Pet Vibe
Plain answers for real pet owners, in writing and on video.
What Pet Vibe is
Pet Vibe started as Pet Vibe TV, a YouTube channel about everyday life with pets. Viewers kept asking the same kinds of questions in the comments: Is this food safe? Why does my cat do that? When should I worry? This website gives those questions full, written answers that you can read in a few minutes and come back to later.
We cover dogs, cats, and other pets, with guides on health and vet visits, food and nutrition, training, grooming, daily care, and behavior. Right now there are 18 guides on the site, and new ones go up every week.
How we write our guides
- The answer comes first. Every guide opens with a short, direct answer, then explains the details.
- Health facts need sources. We check health and safety information against veterinary schools, veterinary associations, and animal welfare groups such as the ASPCA, AVMA, RSPCA, and Cornell University. Each guide lists its sources at the end.
- We say when to call the vet. Some problems cannot be fixed at home. Our health guides point out the warning signs that need a professional, and we never give medication doses.
- Plain language. We write for busy owners, not for textbooks.
- We update. Pet care advice changes. When guidance changes or a reader spots an error, we fix the guide and show the updated date at the top.
- No paid rankings. Nobody can pay to change what a guide says.
Our writers
Each part of the site has its own writer, so the same voice guides you through every topic for your pet.
An important note
Pet Vibe is an information site. We are not a veterinary clinic, and our guides do not replace an exam by a vet who knows your pet. Read our full disclaimer for details.
